I have an older reiner that I’m using to learn the ropes. He’s done a little bit of everything before coming back into a show program. He’s broke, quiet, and dependable, but at shows, we noticed he would get a little antsy, especially when we paused at the start of a pattern. He would anticipate the spin and get ahead of me.

I came across Equiflavin and decided it was worth trying, especially after reading that it helps take the edge off without making them dull like some calming agents can.

I tried it at home first to make sure he didn’t have any negative reaction. Then this past weekend, we took him to a dressage show to do western dressage, just to mix things up a bit. When we jogged to the center and stopped, I felt him prepare like he normally would, anticipating the spin. But this time, he waited. He stayed quiet, patient, and tuned in, waiting for my cue instead of reacting on his own. That was a huge win for us.

I’m really looking forward to our next reining show in May.

The customer service was also outstanding. I called because the dosing on the bottle was different from a video I had seen. I was able to speak with a real person who actively participates in equine events (cow horse—close enough!). We had a great conversation about Equiflavin and MC2, and she helped explain the differences and gave helpful guidance on use. I wish I could remember her name because she was fantastic, knowledgeable, relatable, and genuinely helpful.

I’ll definitely be placing another order soon. It worked so well for Dually that a few others have already borrowed some of mine, and I don’t want to be without it.
